What's good

  • Broad-form

What drags it down

  • Doses not split out

The verdict

The most heavily marketed magnesium on the internet — and it's better than the ads deserve, but you pay for the ads. Magnesium Breakthrough puts seven forms of magnesium in one capsule, which sounds impressive and has a grain of truth. The problem is the label doesn't split the dose across those seven forms, so you can't tell how much of each you're actually getting. At roughly $1.36 a serving it's the priciest here by a wide margin.

What the label actually delivers

The tub lists a 500 mg total across the blend but not the per-form breakdown — so the single most useful number, how much of each type you get, is missing. That's not a scam; it's just less transparent than a single-form product where the elemental dose is right on the label. A chunk of the price is the seven-forms story.

Who it's for

Fine if you specifically like the multi-form idea and don't mind paying a premium for it. If you mainly want a proven dose of a well-absorbed form, a single-form glycinate does the same job for a fraction of the price.
